Welcome to the Msgr. Baldwin Council Web Site
THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS is the world's largest lay Catholic family service organization. As their forebearers did more than a century ago, today's Knights and thier families stand shoulder to shoulder in support of one another. Through thier charity and examples of thier lives, they stand in service to all as witnesses to the good news of the gospel.

Our Founder Father McGivney
The Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus Chartered, Council 836 on January 10, 1904 at St. Mary of the Lake, in Lakewood,NJ. At that time, the Council was known as the Lakewood Council and consisted of 27 members.
In 1961, the members purchased the present location at 1065 Cedar Bridge Ave., in Brick, NJ.
Upon Msgr. Baldwins death in 1964 the Council changed its name to honor Msgr. Baldwin for all his support and devotion to our council.
The Council sponsers a golf outting supporting the Bobbie Bucker Fund and a horseshoe tournament for the Gallager fund, as well as Food Baskets for the needy at Chistmas and support the Brick PBA Vest Fund and many others.
The Council has grown in the past 104 years from its original 27 members to the present 500 members.
We, the current membership owe our success to those who served as Officers and to the dedication of the members who volunteered their time to make Council 836 programs a success.
